As another year comes to an end, I find myself reflecting on how unfair life can feel. There’s that common phrase, the one everyone seems to be waiting for: “Everything happens for a reason.” But sometimes, those words feel empty in the face of real struggles.

This post isn’t for just anyone. It’s for you—the one who always takes the time to read my blog, the one who tries to understand what’s going on in my mind, even when things are confusing. You’re there every day, staring back at me from the mirror, waiting for me to give in, to make the same mistake that so many others have. Maybe you’re hoping I’ll give up, that I’ll lose this game we call life.

But I’ve got news for you. Listen closely, you in the mirror: get ready, because we both know better than to give up now. No matter how hard things get, we’re not quitting. Not today.
