Countdown to July 4

In a mere 8 days, we will celebrate July 4th, Independence Day, which holds a significant place in American history. This day is more than just a date on the calendar; it's a commemoration of the hard-fought independence and the enduring spirit of freedom. It serves as a poignant reminder of the opportunities and liberties that not everyone around the world has had the chance to experience

On July 3rd, we will be celebrating my birthday, and this year also marks the second anniversary of my Memoir "Born Again in America." A nation where dreams still come true.

This book holds a special place in my heart as it represents more than just words on paper. It serves as a window to freedom, authenticity, and discovery.

I extend an invitation to not only commemorate freedom, but to also never overlook the significance of the unique light and authenticity that you possess.

Countdown to July 4

There are just nine days until July 4. If you ever find yourself in another country or another culture like me, there is so much I can share on that subject.

However, the point is not that as an immigrant who has been in the United States of America for the past 15 years, I have the responsibility to say that this is a great country. Whether it is perfect or not, there is a lot to say about that. However, I have the blessing of growing up under a dictatorship; I have the blessing to know firsthand what it is not to have freedom of expression, religion, or any liberty in general.

I suffered firsthand. I saw my father and how much he endured pain and suffering in silence for not being able to be his true self.

As a result, I don't act naive. I don't take for granted the privilege that, even as an immigrant, I enjoy the freedom and authenticity that I can explore in a place like this for someone like me.

On the other hand, I am excited about the countdown to July 4. For once, July 3 is my birthday. Most importantly, this year marked the second anniversary of my memoir, "Born Again in America: A Nation Where Dreams Still Come True." More than a memoir, I found this book an open door to discovery—an open door to authenticity and pure freedom."

I extend a sincere invitation to embrace the authenticity, freedom, and privilege that you are fortunate to possess.

Countdown to July 4

"The countdown continued for eleven days until July 4.” Join me in the July 4 countdown and welcome as we approach Independence Day. I can't stop thinking about the blessings that we still enjoy in a place like the United States of America. I often feel mesmerized when I see how we can practice freedom of speech, authenticity, and liberty thanks to those who fought and died for others to have a better life.

Also, allow me to introduce myself. July 3 is my birthday, and most importantly, I celebrated the second anniversary of my Memoir in July. I feel joy and pride to have been able to self-publish a memoir that not only opened the door to a new beginning for me, but more than that, gave me the satisfaction of being my authentic self and on the road, hoping that others can fulfill their dreams.

Countdown to July 4

The countdown continued for twelve days until July 4. I am counting the days, and I am excited. I have a reason for that. As an immigrant, I don't take for granted the opportunities I have in a place like the United States of America. I might sound naive to some and patriotic to others. Some people ignore me.

I love the idea of freedom, pure democracy, and the authenticity that we have the privilege to experience in this land.

On the other hand, I am counting the days to celebrate my birthday, which happens to be on July 3. Also, this year marks the second anniversary of my memoir "Born Again in America". As a self-published author, I take immense pride in celebrating this accomplishment because not only did I never see myself having the opportunity to write and self-publish a book, but most of all, writing a memoir for me was not just a cathartic experience, it was more than that.

It was an open window to discover a new journey for me.

I hope, intentionally or not, I inspire you to open your heart and mind to the beauty of life.

Countdown to 4 July

Just thirteen days to July 4,

As the countdown continues with just thirteen days to July 4, I can't help but feel the anticipation building, much like my daughter eagerly awaits her Christmas gift. Firstly, July 3 marks my birthday, and as an immigrant, I find joy in the idea of celebrating both my own birthday and the birth of the United States of America in July. The concept of freedom, something my father always yearned for but was denied, resonates deeply with me. America truly remains a land of endless opportunities and promise.

Secondly, July also serves as a reminder of a significant milestone in my life - the anniversary of my memoir. It's been two years since I first self-published "Born Again in America," A nation where dreams still come true.A work that proved to be not just a book, but a gateway to profound self-discovery. This memoir allowed me to embrace the freedom, authenticity, and exploration that define my journey.

I extend an open invitation for you to uncover the same sense of freedom, authenticity, and fulfillment in your own life.

"It is what it is"

"It is what it is" is a well-known expression many of us often use. I'd love to hear your take on this saying. I'm not a fan of it. When we use "It is what it is," we seem to avoid taking responsibility for the situation. It can feel like a passive acceptance of the status quote. However, it's essential to understand that we should strive to make necessary changes rather than simply accepting the negatives in life.

"What do you do when you feel isolated?"

As a stay-at-home mom, I often find myself grappling with feelings of isolation, even though I am deeply grateful for my family. Being an extrovert, I struggle with occasional waves of ingratitude, loneliness, and resentment. It's important for me to acknowledge that I'm not alone in experiencing these emotions, and I want to express them without coming across as complaining.

Reflecting on my younger years, I developed a deep passion for art, particularly abstract art, books, and music. I was always drawn to the meanings and emotions behind these creative expressions. As I've grown older, I've come to realize that art encompasses immense emotion and energy. I believe that without love and magic, it can feel hollow and devoid of its true essence.

The Power of Common Sense and Love.

Unlocking the Key to a Fulfilling Life:

Living a fulfilling life can be challenging, but it's important to understand that the key to happiness lies within us. By using our common sense and embracing love, we can unlock the door that leads to a life of contentment and purpose.

Common sense is a valuable tool that helps us navigate through life's challenges. It allows us to make sound decisions, avoid unnecessary risks, and find solutions to difficult problems. By using our common sense, we can make choices that lead us towards our goals and bring us closer to our dreams.

Love is another essential element that brings meaning to our lives. When we embrace love, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities. Love allows us to connect with others, form meaningful relationships, and find joy in our interactions with the world around us. It also helps us to forgive those who have wronged us, which is a powerful step towards healing and moving forward.

Forgiveness is a crucial aspect of a fulfilling life. It requires us to let go of resentment and anger towards those who have hurt us. By forgiving others, we free ourselves from the burden of negative emotions and release ourselves from the past. Forgiveness also allows us to move forward and focus on the present, making room for positive experiences and relationships in our lives.

In summary, unlocking the key to a fulfilling life is about using our common sense, embracing love, and practicing forgiveness. By doing so, we can create a life that is full of joy, purpose, and contentment.

When I write I express my feelings in a way that is meaningful and cathartic.

My father imparted some valuable lessons which have stayed with me till today. One of these is the importance of expressing oneself, and the ways to do it. I have come to realize that reading, singing, and writing are not just hobbies for me, but mediums that allow me to channel my emotions in a pure and unfiltered way.

I have found that by engaging in these activities, I am able to express my deepest feelings, whether it be pain, anger, love, or any other emotion, in a way that is authentic and honest. I have come to appreciate that it is important to let these emotions out, rather than bottling them up inside and letting them fester.

Reading has allowed me to delve into different worlds and perspectives that I would never have been exposed to otherwise. Singing has given me a way to express my emotions through song, and writing has allowed me to pour out my heart onto paper.

Thanks to my father's guidance and the tools he gave me, I am able to embrace my feelings and express them in a way that is meaningful and cathartic.

I am always amazed at the power that words can hold.

I am always amazed at the power that words can hold.

Over the past few years, I have discovered a newfound sense of freedom in the written word. Whenever I read a book, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation at the prospect of discovering a new world or idea. Occasionally, I will even come across a book that introduces me to a new friend or mentor, someone who understands me and my interests on a deeper level.

But it is in writing that I feel truly liberated. Whenever I put pen to paper, I feel as though I am unburdening myself of all the thoughts and emotions that I have been carrying around with me. I don't have to worry about being judged or misunderstood, because the words that I write are mine and mine alone.

Writing has become a form of therapy for me, a way to explore my deepest thoughts and feelings and to connect with others who may be going through similar experiences. Whether I am jotting down my ideas in a journal or crafting a piece of creative writing, I am always amazed at the power that words can hold.
